At Mansfield Museum we heard some lovely recollections from workers in the region about their work in the local textile companies. Several oral history recordings were made and contacts were gathered from those people who wanted to share their stories at a later date
We shared histories of some of the companies from around Mansfield and showed a DVD with clips from the news at documentaries from the MACE ( Media Archives Central England) Archive and this prompted many conversations whilst tea and cake was enjoyed by all.
